Joaquín Padró
He is a producer. Graduate in Film-TV and Anthropology from San Francisco State University and Berkeley University. Founder and head of "Magus Films", an advertising production company in San Francisco, California. President of "Movieland", an advertising production company in Barcelona. President of "Rodar y Rodar", a production company for Advertising, Film and TV; through this company he has produced numerous advertising spots that have gained international recognition and won numerous awards, including the prestigious Cannes Grand Prix. For more than 30 years, he has been directing "Rodar y Rodar Cine", which has become one of the most solid production companies in the audiovisual industry, specializing in fiction production for film and television.
Mar Targarona
She is a director, film producer and actress. She is director of the Screenwriters Workshop Foundation and executive producer of Rodar y Rodar Cine S.L. She studied Dramatic Art at the "Institut del Teatre" in Barcelona, in Strasbourg and with Lee Strasberg, and began her professional career in theater. She was a Founding Member of the "Dagoll Dagom" company. Later, she turned to film and television, making commercials for Rodar y Rodar and, from 1995, working as a director, screenwriter and producer. She directed the film Muere mí vida, an episode of the series Abuela de Verano, Ojo por Ojo, Secuestro, El Fotógrafo de Mauthausen, Dos and El Cuco.
Marina Padró
She studied at ESCAC (Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisual de Catalunya). After graduating in Production, she moved to Madrid to work at National Geographic Channel until 2012 when she returned to Barcelona and started working at Rodar y Rodar. First in administration and as associate producer until 2019 when she brought the project EL PÁRAMO to the company. Since then, Marina along with Daniel, have been in charge of script acquisition and production.
Daniel Padró
He began his career as a screenwriter with the film "Paranormal Xperience 3D" while studying at ESCAC, where he specialized in screenwriting. His short film "Un día Especial", his final year project, premiered at the Sitges Film Festival. Since then, he has been working as a script analyst and supervisor at Rodar y Rodar. He has also directed other low-budget short films. In the film "Espejo Espejo" he served as delegate producer.
Our History
Founded over 30 years ago, Rodar y Rodar is currently led by Joaquín Padró and Mar Targarona, along with their children Marina and Daniel Padró. Although initially focused on advertising, earning recognitions such as the Cannes Grand Prix, it has established itself as one of the strongest production companies in the Spanish and Catalan audiovisual industry.
Over the years, it has produced a wide variety of projects, from short films to award-winning feature films, documentaries exploring social realities, and advertising campaigns for leading brands. The commitment to quality and authentic storytelling has allowed Rodar y Rodar to build a solid reputation in the industry.

6. Recent Data and Diversification
After more than 30 years in business, Rodar y Rodar has produced over 15 films and 12 series.
It has received financial support from the Institut Català de Finances (ICF) for more than two decades, including a recent aid of €400,000 to develop an animation department and enhance its service for foreign production companies.
It also released the English-language film Mirage (with Atresmedia and a budget of €20 million), opening a line of international productions and remakes.
