Synopsis

Either Diego does something or they will both die. He has chills. When he looks at the horizon, Diego feels real terror. He knows that the outside world is dangerous. Only he feels safe in his home: a shack lost in the middle of nowhere. Since he was born, he has never left there. One night, his father tells him a horror story about “The Beast,” a being that seeks out vulnerable souls to hunt them down. The more you fear him, the closer he gets. Diego is very afraid, but his mother tells him that it is just a story. One morning, across the river, a small boat appears with a badly injured man. What has happened to him? The family has never been separated. Diego's father decides to take the body to the city, leaving his wife and his son alone. Diego's heart skips a beat. They have never been separated. I will return very soon. -says the father Silence, absence. Now there are only Diego and his mother, Lucía. The paternal void is very strange. The days pass and insecurity clings to them like a malignant tumor. One morning, Lucía looks into the distance and sees something: Who is she? But before Diego can see anything the figure disappears. How odd. History repeats itself that same night: in the middle of a storm Lucía sees that figure a little closer to her. But Diego still doesn't see anything. What does Lucia see? Is it The Beast? What's going on? Is Lucia going crazy? The situation worsens as “it” becomes more present. The panic is unbearable.
